Family Day of Service is a day of service that celebrates the power of families who work together to support their neighbors and neighborhoods. Each year, thousands of families use the day to teach children valuable real-life lessons about compassion and caring. Volunteering also can be a great way for kids and adults to develop skills, learn more about their community and make friends. Whether your passion is the environment, caring for animals, literacy, women & children or even if you have your own idea, your family can be part of this tradition.
Volunteers have three options to choose from:
- Register for the “Be the Change – It Starts with Family” Event.
- Find an opportunity on the VCSJ’s Fundly Connect™ link and search (see below).
- Get creative and do your own project (we call them DIY Projects). Check out our Pinterest Board for ideas and then REGISTER YOUR PROJECT HERE. DIY PROJECT GUIDE (download)
