Michele Francesconi, VP Capacity Building Training & Strategic Initiatives

Michele, formerly the Executive Director for the Volunteer Center of South Jersey, now serves as the Vice-President of Capacity Building Training and Strategic Initiatives at Jersey Cares. She brings a dynamic leadership style with expertise in startup firms and nonprofit organizations making vision become reality by utilizing best practice strategies in operations, sales, marketing, development and planning. Prior to her work with the Volunteer Center, Michele’s leadership skills helped to redefine and established a best practice nonprofit business model for the Gloucester County Special Services Education Foundation.

Taylor Madgey is our Program Manager and has been dedicating her time to the Volunteer center for 5 years. She has served us with keen attention to detail and planning, following through on logistics and bringing our events to life!

Marguerite Stubbs is our longest serving Advisory Board member with over 10 years of service to the Volunteer Center.

Rich Jankowski was elected the president of the Advisory Board in 2025. As an Advanced Certified Nonprofit Professional (NLA 2024), he brings a breadth of experience and professionalism to our efforts. He holds a Doctor of Organizational Leadership from Stockton University, 2024. and is a forty-six-year member of Alpha Phi Omega (National Co-ed Service Fraternity).

Rachael Preisinger is an Executive Producer with more than a decade of experience in content production and event management. She began her career at NFL Films in South Jersey and has gone on to lead projects from the Paris 2024 Olympics to large-scale brand and player activations across major sports leagues. Now working independently, Rachael focuses on creating meaningful stories and cultivating partnerships that bring people together, and she is honored to contribute her skills as an Advisory Board member for the Volunteer Center of South Jersey.

Leona Confer (Snively) is an experienced software sales and support leader based in South Jersey. In addition to her work in the tech industry, Leona also sustains a personal life coaching business where she helps lead people into their own personal empowerment. In her free time, Leona finds ways to give back and invest in local civic engagement. Over the past two decades, Leona has served on the local PTO, the Stratford Parks and Recreation Committee, and held several positions within her church community. Leona has a deep appreciation for life and enjoys working with others to create a more fulfilling and sustainable future for all.

Ashley Johnson is the current outreach for RCSJ and cross country coach for Salem Community College. Previously, she coached at Chestnut Hill College for cross country and track. She was also a Health/PE teacher for 9 years. She has dedicated time and service to the Volunteer Center of South Jersey since December 2024.

Tanayja Dillard is a sales and business development professional at Tower Investments, where she drives growth by developing creative strategies, discovering new business opportunities, and event sales. A graduate of Stockton University with a degree in Criminal Justice, Tanayja is currently pursuing her Master of Public Administration (MPA) at Liberty University. After completing her MPA, reflecting her passion for influencing change in policy, politics, and law.

Ryan Hummel is an experienced M&A and Technology executive leader. He currently works as an independent consultant leading technology and merger and acquisition deals, as well as an adjunct professor in Organizational Behavior and Consulting at Drexel University.

Daniel Gibson is a PMP certified project manager and has worked in marketing for four years. He taught Spanish and co-taught Physical Education at a behavioral and special education school for two years before returning to school and making a pivot to marketing. He has served on the Advisory Board since January 2025.
