Youth Workforce Development

The Youth Workforce Development (YWD) is a cross-sector collaborative bridge program that provides a powerful opportunity for youth ages 16-24 to build economic mobility. The program aims to connect underrepresented youth to positive professional relationships, developing critical 21st-century job and life skills.


ATTENTION: Graduating high school seniors with a record of volunteerism in their community. Scholarships are available to any college, university, technical or trade school. Eligibility requirements include:

  • 3.0 grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 system or 85.0 grade point average (GPA) on a 100-point system.
  • Applicant must be a full time resident of New Jersey.
  • High School transcript (copy).
  • Essay (250- 500 words).
  • one (or more) letters of recommendation.


Service Learning

The Jersey Cares Club aims to increase the level of meaningful volunteer engagement within New Jersey's youth by creating and managing efficient, impactful projects that address critical community-identified needs.
