Greg Davis has been a board member since 2007, serving as both vice president and president during his tenure. While serving as president, he led the organization to expand from the Volunteer Center of Gloucester County to the Volunteer Center of South Jersey.

In 2010, Greg envisioned and co-founded the Spirit of Community Awards, now held annually each October.  His innovations and initiatives continued after that, and in 2018 he founded SAVE, the Scholarship Award For Volunteer Excellence, and personally matched funding raised at the Spirit awards in each of this its first two years to ensure a successful launch.

2018 was a good year for Greg, as the Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce recognized him as their Citizen of the Year for over a decade of contributions to his community.

He has a distinguished 28-year career as a chemical engineer with the Paulsboro Refinery serving a variety of technical and leadership positions. He is currently the Planning and Economics Manager  and so has to think creatively for maximum financial gain every day.
